Dissipative floors, tables, windows and other equipment may only be cleaned with cleaning agents intended for this purpose. This ensures that they do not lose their properties in the long term and remain reliably suitable for ESD. The cleaning accessories themselves must also be made of ESD-suitable materials.
Cleaning accessories should be dissipative, i.e. capable of dissipating electrostatic charges from the surface and discharging them in a controlled manner without causing electrostatic discharge. Accessories such as cleaning cloths should not generate lint, which increases the risk of electrostatic discharge.
Unlike conventional brushes, the use of this conductive brush assortment can minimize static charges on ESD-sensitive printed circuit boards.
